Has soft yellow and green foliage, it is excellent in a woodland setting. To grow this grass in full sun or in hot dry conditions, constant moisture is needed. In hot dry conditions, golden foxtail will stay gold longer if cut back and watered in mid-August. It will also be a brighter color in full sun
