Miscanthus transmorrisonensis
Evergreen clumping grass with foliage to 3-4 feet tall. The plant is graced by arching 5-6 feet tall golden spikes that arch up and out from the foliage. Flowers occur late spring through winter. Drought resistant, but looks best with occasional watering. Full sun to part shade. Excellent for dramatic accent and erosion control. Evergreen in southern California this plant is root hardy to USDA Zone 6 (-10 degrees F).
