Yellowish grey green, vertically rushlike foliage is graced by one of the most distinctive flowers of all grasses: the inflorescence looks like little origami birds . An evergreen  spreading rhizomatous grass that grow to 2-3 feet tall. Native to Israel and Egypt. Tolerates desert conditions and is excellent by the coast, A true grass with delicate rush-like foliage.

Uses: An excellent groundcover grass. Useful in groups or in large groundcover plantings
